We will be conducting class on rekordbox DJ software. But you can use any Dj application during the course. The skills and techniques you will learn can easily be learned and pacticed on any DJ software. Most DJ software platforms are very similar in terms of core functionality.
Most DJ controllers include compatible software with the purchase. Therefore, learning on any major DJ platform is perfectly acceptable.

Latency refers to the delay between an action performed on your DJ controller (such as pressing the Play button) and the moment you hear the sound through your speakers.
Even a slight delay can affect beatmatching, timing, cueing, and overall performance. Therefore, it is important to use speakers or monitors that provide minimal latency.
