What is DJ Training Academy?

DJ Training Academy (DJTA) is a professional DJ and Music Production training institute based in New Delhi, India. We offer DJ courses, Music Production courses, Ableton Live training, online classes, one-to-one mentorship, and career guidance for aspiring DJs and producers.

 

 

Who can join DJ Training Academy?

​Anyone passionate about music can join. Our courses are suitable for:​

​No prior experience is required for beginner-level courses.

Do I need a musical background?

​No. Our courses are designed to start from the fundamentals and gradually progress to advanced concepts.

 

 

What is the minimum age requirement?

Students should generally be at least 14 years old. Younger students may be considered with parental supervision and approval.

Online DJ Course Questions

Can I learn DJing online?

​Yes. Our online DJ courses are specifically designed to help students learn professional DJing from the comfort of their homes from anywhere in the world.​

​

Will online classes be live or pre-recorded?

Our online courses primarily consist of live instructor-led sessions where students can interact, ask questions, and receive real-time guidance.

Do i need any DJ equipment to join this course ?

Which platform do you use for online classes?

​Online classes may be conducted through Discord, Zoom, Google Meet, or other approved learning platforms.

Can students from outside India join?

​Absolutely. Students from any country can enroll in our online courses but according to Indian Standard Time provided by the instructor.

​​​

What internet speed is recommended?

A stable broadband connection with at least 20 Mbps download speed is recommended for a smooth learning experience.

​

Will my course fee increase after I enroll?

No. Once your admission is confirmed and your enrollment fee has been accepted by DJ Training Academy, the agreed course fee remains fixed for the duration of that course.

DJ Training Academy does not increase course fees midway through an ongoing program. Even if the academy revises its pricing for future batches, students who have already enrolled will continue under the fee structure that was communicated and agreed upon at the time of admission.

We believe in maintaining transparency, fairness, and trust throughout the learning journey.

DJ Course Questions

 

Do I need my own DJ equipment?

While it is possible to start learning without equipment, we strongly recommend having your own DJ controller, headphones and monitors for regular practice.

How much practice is required?

We recommend a minimum of 30 to 60 minutes of daily practice for consistent progress.

Music Production Questions

 

Which DAW do you teach?

We primarily teach Ableton Live but may also discuss workflows applicable to other digital audio workstations.

 

Do I need a MIDI keyboard?

No. A MIDI keyboard can be useful but is not mandatory for learning music production.

 

Can I produce music on a laptop?

Yes. A modern laptop with sufficient RAM and storage is usually enough to begin learning music production.

 

 

Certification Questions

 

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Eligible students may receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course requirements.

 

Is the certificate internationally recognized?

Our certificates demonstrate course completion and training. Recognition may vary depending on employers, organizations, and industry requirements.

Attendance Questions

 

What happens if I miss a class?

Students are encouraged to attend all sessions. Missed classes may not always be eligible for replacement or rescheduling.

 

Are recordings available?

Certain classes may be recorded. Access to recordings, if provided, is subject to academy policies and availability.

Are course fees refundable?

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Course fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

 

 

Career Questions

 

Can DJ Training Academy help me get gigs?

We provide guidance, mentorship, and industry insights; however, we do not guarantee bookings, employment, or performance opportunities.

We are occasionally approached by our industry partners for opportunities at clubs, private events, festivals, and corporate shows. We recommend only those students who have demonstrated the required level of skill, professionalism, and performance readiness.

To be considered for such opportunities, students must successfully clear any auditions or trial performances conducted by the organizer. Selection is typically based on factors such as music knowledge, DJing skills, technical proficiency, track selection, stage presence, confidence, crowd engagement, and overall professionalism.

While DJ Training Academy may facilitate introductions and opportunities where available, placement or performance opportunities cannot be guaranteed and are subject to the requirements and final approval of the respective event organizers.

 

Can I become a professional DJ after completing the course?

The course provides the skills and knowledge required to begin your journey as a professional DJ. Success depends on your dedication, practice, networking, and continued learning.

 

Will you teach me how to perform in clubs and events?

Yes. Depending on the course, students learn:

What do I need for online or offline classes?

Minimum requirements:

• Laptop or Desktop Computer

• Stable Internet Connection (Recommended for online)

• Webcam (Recommended for online)

• DJ Controller (Must Recommended)

• Required Software

 

Can I attend online classes using a mobile phone?

For the best learning experience, we strongly recommend using a laptop or desktop computer.
