Course Terms & Conditions

These Course Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern enrollment and participation in all courses, workshops, training programs, mentorship sessions, online classes, and educational services offered by DJ Training Academy ("DJTA", "we", "our", or "us"), including DJ training, music production, sound design, music technology, and related creative and educational programs.

​

1. COURSE ENROLLMENT

Enrollment in any DJ Training Academy course is confirmed only after receipt of the applicable course fee and confirmation from the academy.

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

Course availability is subject to seat limitations and batch capacity.

​

2. FEES AND PAYMENT

The applicable course fee must be paid in full in advance unless DJ Training Academy has expressly agreed to a different payment arrangement in writing. Payment in full is required to confirm the student's enrollment and course slot.

Any instalment plans, discount, promotional pricing, introductory offer, or special fee shall apply only where expressly communicated and confirmed by DJ Training Academy.

2a. Course Fee Protection

Once a student's enrollment has been confirmed and the applicable course fee has been accepted by DJ Training Academy, the agreed fee shall remain fixed for that specific course and batch. Any future revisions to academy pricing shall apply only to new enrollments and shall not affect students who have already enrolled under a previously agreed fee structure.

3. REFUND POLICY

Course enrollment is specific to the enrolled student, course, and batch and may not be transferred to another person, course, batch, or program unless DJ Training Academy expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

No refunds shall be issued for:

​

• Change of mind

• Lack of attendance

• Personal scheduling conflicts

• Relocation

• Technical difficulties on the student's side

• Failure to complete the course

• Dissatisfaction due to lack of practice or participation

• Lack of concentration

• Suspension or interruption of the course due to reasons attributable to the student

Exceptions, if any, shall be considered solely at the discretion of DJ Training Academy.​

4. ATTENDANCE POLICY

Regular attendance is essential for successful course completion.

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.

Repeated absence may affect learning outcomes, course completion status, certification eligibility, and access to certain course benefits.

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to deny course completion recognition to students with poor attendance.

​5. IN CASE OF MISSED CLASSES​

​

Students are responsible for attending scheduled classes on time.

Missed classes due to personal reasons may not be eligible for replacement, rescheduling, compensation, or refunds.

Where feasible, DJ Training Academy may provide alternative solutions at its sole discretion; however, such arrangements are not guaranteed.

​6. ONLINE LEARNING REQUIREMENTS

Students enrolled in online courses are responsible for maintaining:

​

• A stable internet connection

• A functioning computer or compatible device

• Required software installations

• Necessary hardware and equipment

• Access to designated learning platforms

​​

Technical issues arising from the student's equipment, software, internet connection, or local network remain the student's responsibility.

​

Students should have basic familiarity with operating a computer and managing basic software, files, internet connectivity, and online communication platforms. Any course-specific software or technical requirements will be communicated by DJ Training Academy where applicable.

​

​

7. RECORDINGS AND CLASS CONTENT

Certain classes may be recorded for educational, quality assurance, training, administrative, or support purposes.

Students acknowledge and consent to the possibility of class recordings.

​

DJ Training Academy may, at its discretion, provide access to selected recordings, however, access to recordings is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

​

Unauthorised recording, screen capture, downloading, reproduction, distribution, sharing, uploading, broadcasting, or commercial use of any class content is strictly prohibited.

​

Recordings, where provided, are intended solely for the enrolled student's personal educational use and do not create any right to permanent access, downloading, redistribution, or commercial use unless expressly authorised by DJ Training Academy.

​

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All educational content provided by DJ Training Academy remains the exclusive intellectual property of DJ Training Academy unless otherwise stated.

This includes, but is not limited to:

​

• Videos

• Presentations

• PDFs

• Course Notes

• Audio Demonstrations

• Training Materials

• Assignments

• Course Structures

• Educational Resources

• Graphics and Visual Content

• Project Files

• Presets

• Samples and Demonstration Files

• Production Templates

• Sound Design Resources

• MIDI Files

• Other Downloadable Educational Materials

• Recording or photographing classes without permission

• Sharing another student's personal information

• Using academy platforms for unauthorised commercial promotion

Students may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, share, modify, upload, or commercially exploit any course material without prior written permission.

​​

​

​9. STUDENT CONTENT AND THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

​

Students are responsible for ensuring that any music, recordings, samples, vocals, stems, project files, images, videos, software content, or other third-party materials they use or submit during a course are used in accordance with applicable copyright, licensing, and other intellectual property requirements.

​

DJ Training Academy provides educational instruction and does not grant students ownership or licensing rights to third-party content, software, samples, recordings, or other copyrighted materials used during demonstrations or training.

​

Students are solely responsible for obtaining any permissions, licences, or rights required for the commercial release, distribution, public performance, publication, or other use of their own projects or productions.

DJ Training Academy does not guarantee that any student-created work is legally cleared for commercial release or distribution.

10. STUDENT CONDUCT​

​

Students are expected to maintain professional, respectful, and appropriate behavior at all times.

The following behavior is strictly prohibited:

​

• Harassment

• Abuse

• Threatening conduct

• Hate speech

• Discrimination

• Disruptive behavior

• Spamming

• Impersonation

• Sharing unauthorized content

• Violating intellectual property rights

• Recording or photographing classes without permission

• Sharing another student's personal information

• Using academy platforms for unauthorised commercial promotion

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to immediately remove any participant engaging in inappropriate conduct without warning or refund.

1​1. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES​

​

Students participating in Discord servers, WhatsApp groups, online communities, discussion forums, or other academy-managed platforms must comply with community rules.

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to moderate discussions, remove content, suspend accounts, restrict access, or remove participants who violate community guidelines.

​

​11. COURSE ACCESS

​

Course access is granted solely to the enrolled student.

Students may not:

​

• Share login credentials

• Share community access

• Share course recordings

• Share downloadable resources

• Permit unauthorized individuals to attend classes

​

Any misuse may result in immediate termination of access without refund.

​

13. PRACTICAL RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Success in DJing, music production, performance opportunities, bookings, social media growth, income generation, or career advancement depends upon numerous factors, including individual effort, practice, skill development, networking, and market conditions.

DJ Training Academy does not guarantee:

​

• Employment

• Bookings

• Income

• Event opportunities

• Record deals

• Social media growth

• Career success

​

Results will vary from student to student.

​

​14. COURSE MODIFICATIONS​

​

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to:

​

• Update course content

• Modify lesson structures

• Change instructors where reasonably necessary

• Adjust schedules

• Upgrade learning platforms

• Improve educational materials

​

Such modifications may be made without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

​

​

15. CERTIFICATES

Where certificates are offered, issuance may be subject to:

​

• Minimum attendance requirements

• Course completion requirements

• Submission of assignments

• Demonstration of required competencies

​

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to withhold certification where requirements have not been met.

​

​

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

DJ Training Academy shall not be liable for:

​

• Internet interruptions

• Platform outages

• Technical failures

• Hardware malfunctions

• Data loss

• Third-party platform disruptions

• Indirect or consequential damages

​Students are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their own project files, recordings, music, assignments, and other personal creative materials. DJ Training Academy is not responsible for loss of student-owned files resulting from device failure, software failure, platform issues, accidental deletion, or other circumstances outside the academy's reasonable control.

​

Participation in any course is undertaken at the student's own discretion and responsibility.

​

​

17. TERMINATION OF ACCESS

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any course, community, platform, or service if a participant:

​

• Violates these Terms

• Engages in misconduct

• Breaches intellectual property rights

• Shares restricted content

• Disrupts the learning environment

​

Termination may occur without warning and without refund.

​

​

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

​

DJ Training Academy reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the website and will generally become effective upon publication, unless a different effective date is stated.
